Terms & Conditions for Bikes Acquired via the Indiegogo Campaign The following terms and conditions are applicable to all the products (including but not limited to Bikes, upgraded parts, Accessories, and Batteries) obtained via the Indiegogo Website or via a custom invoice from one of Biktrix’s agents for the same amount as the Indiegogo Website. The Indiegogo Philosophy Indiegogo is a crowdfunding platform and hence the products are not bought but backed by contributors. The relationship between people and Biktrix on the Indiegogo platform is of a Backer/ Contributor and an Entrepreneurial Project. |
The Following exceptions would be applicable to the products shipped under the Indiegogo Campaign in addition to the existing Terms of Service as enumerated on this page. Returning the Bike All products acquired under the Indiegogo Campaign are Non-Returnable and Non-Refundable. No Exceptions would be allowed under any circumstances. Reimbursements All reimbursements would be at the discretion of Biktrix, however, no cash refunds or direct refunds/ reimbursements would be issued to the Indiegogo Contributors in case of warranty issues. In lieu of Biktrix pre-authorized warranty expenses, Biktrix will issue store credits equal to the amount as pre-authorized before the commencement of the warranty expense. Replacements In cases where a replacement part is sent to fix an issue on the bike, Biktrix Inc. will not be liable to cover the cost for the removal and installation of the replacement parts. |
Warranty Information Biktrix Enterprises Inc offers a limited warranty to the original owner of its products. This limited warranty covers the warranty period. During the warranty period, Biktrix Enterprises Inc will repair or replace, at no charge, products or parts of a product that proves defective because of improper material or workmanship, under normal use and maintenance. Parts and features not mentioned in the specs list are not covered under warranty. Biktrix Enterprises Inc will either repair the product at no charge, provide a new product, or refurbish replacement parts. Some repairs will be serviced locally to the user and the customer will be reimbursed their local bike shop fees. The warranty period varies per product and is initiated by the delivery of the product:

Warranty claims must be reported to support@biktrix.com to be processed. The warranty period varies per product and begins on the date of delivery: lifetime on bike frames 12 months on electronic components 12 months on batteries 6 month on conversion kits (including kit batteries) Exception: The standard warranty period for the Swift Lite is 90 days. We offer an extended warranty upgrade of 1 year for the Swift Lite for $250.00. The manner of return is at the discretion of Biktrix Enterprises Inc. Service is available outside the warranty period on specialized products. Standard service rate for Biktrix customers is $75 per hour plus parts and shipping. |
International Warranty Terms and Conditions This is applicable to the customers who own Biktrix Products and reside in the following regions; Also applicable to the customers who relocated to these regions after making their purchase. 1. Within the U.S. Alaska, Hawaii, US Virgin Islands. 2. Within Canada Nunavut, Northwest Territories, Prince Edward Island, Yukon. 3. Any other country apart from Canada or the USA. Prices The prices indicated on Biktrix Enterprises Inc are shown in USD. The delivery costs are clearly shown and invoiced at the end of the order in addition to the price of the products. Full bike pricing includes shipping to the continental United States and most provinces in Canada. The free shipping exceptions can apply to Quebec, Nunavut, Yukon, North West Territories, and PEI. Please enter your address in the Shipping Address field to know your shipping charges. Orders placed outside of Canada and the continental United States (including Alaska and Hawaii) may be charged an additional shipping fee. If an obviously incorrect price appears on our website and is not corrected on your total at the time of order completion, for whatever reason (human error, technical error etc.), your order will be cancelled and the payment refunded to you, even if it has been initially validated. We reserve the right to modify our prices at any moment but this will be indicated to you on the order at the time the order is placed. |
We reserve the right to modify our prices at any time. We do not price match. Shipping is included in the cost of our bikes, while standard shipping applies to other items. Non-continental shipments will face an additional fee based on standard rates. If an order is placed with the incorrect price, we will be in contact to refund and correct. |
Availability We will always endeavour to fulfill your order once completed and paid for. If a product should become unavailable after your order has been confirmed and paid for, we will contact you to make arrangements for later delivery or refund the price you paid for the product. If your order includes products that are temporarily unavailable, we will send the available products out first and will follow with the outstanding items once they are available again, unless the products do not function without one another. No additional shipping fees will be applicable. If relevant, we will offer you a temporary replacement for an unavailable product, a product of equal or lesser price and quality. If you accept the replacement, the return postage will be covered by us. If you choose to decline this offer, the original product will be shipped when available or you may choose to cancel your order. |
We do our best to keep full stock of all products, but unforeseen circumstances may arise. Pre-Sale All pre-sale dates are provisional and are subject to change without notice. While all efforts will be made to deliver products on the advertised dates, Biktrix Inc. cannot be held liable for any delays or losses caused by such delays. Biktrx Inc. reserves the right to inform the customers about the delays in delivery for the pre-sale items. While we try to match all the specifications on our final product during a Pre-Sale, we may need to change certain features of the product without notice to our customers in order to complete our products through the production line. Biktrix Inc. reserves the right to inform the customers participating in the Pre-Sale about the changes in the final product. While we make every effort to be transparent and forthcoming with our communications, Biktrix Inc. cannot be held liable for communication not read or received through an electronic channel like e-mails, social media posts, or website. Pre-sale stock will attempt to ship by promised date, but logistic delays are common so +/- 3 weeks may be added to your order. If a product is out of stock at time of purchase and is not expected to arrive in 2+ weeks and it is not made clear during checkout (i.e. pre-sale), we will do our best to provide a temporary replacement at no cost to the customer. |
Secure Payment Biktrix Enterprises Inc currently offers multiple methods to pay for your order: VISA, MasterCard, Amex, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shopify Pay. These payment options use advanced SSL encryption to keep your transaction secure and do not cost you anything to use (Biktrix Enterprises Inc is charged as the seller, you are not charged as the buyer) so you will not pay any extra for your order. You do not need to hold an account with these merchants to use these methods of payments. Please refer to the merchants for full terms and conditions of use. Payment must be completed before we proceed with shipment, unless previously arranged. Alternatively, Biktrix Enterprises Inc offers US customers financing through Klarna and Canadian customers financing through PayBright. Financing terms are dependent on multiple factors, such as invoice total, credit score, etc. Please refer to Klarna or PayBright for full terms and conditions of use. You are unable to split payments between a credit card and financer at time of purchase. For reimbursements: - if a user meets the Terms of Service and refund is warranted, the user will be reimbursed via the same payment method as was used initially (see Right of Return below). For order changes: - if a user made a mistake or wishing to alter their order, it must be submitted in the first 24 hours. Requests received after the first 24 hours will be accepted on a case by case basis, but Biktrix Enterprises Inc has the right to refuse. |
Payment is accepted online through a secure network. We accept VISA, MasterCard, Amex, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shopify Pay. Delivery Your order will be delivered to the address you indicated when your order was placed. The products bought on Biktrix Enterprises Inc will be delivered to one address in United States only, unless previously arranged. We do not deliver to US military bases and some islands. If outside the approved delivery geography, the customer may arrange custom delivery at a cost to you, but must be pre-approved. Biktrix Enterprises Inc does everything in its power to respect the delivery times indicated on the website. We cannot, however, be held responsible for the consequences of a late delivery or the loss of a package caused by a third-party contracted to make delivery, or by you, or because of some unforeseen event. In the event where you do not receive your package, an investigation will be conducted with the carrier and may take several days upon receipt of your claim. During this period of investigation, no reimbursement or re-delivery will take place. In the event where you receive your package and there is product damage, an investigation will be conducted with the manufacturer and/or mechanic. During this period of investigation, a replacement will be sent to the customer. This damage must be reported within the first 48 hours to qualify. |
Bike builds take 1 - 4 days and will ship same day it is completed.We do not ship on weekends or statutory holidays. Express shipment is not standard and requires authorization from Roshan Thomas. We use multiple carriers when shipping to the United States: - Purolator (accessories & returns, ground) - DHL (bikes, air) We always use Purolator (ground) for Canada. Delivery damage must be reported within 48 hours for exchange. |
Right of Return Biktrix Merchandise:  No returns, refunds, or exchanges would be accepted for merchandise sold through our website or showrooms. Accessories:  No returns, refunds, or exchanges would be accepted for Accessories under $100 sold through our website or showrooms. Bikes: In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with our product, Biktrix allows you up to 14 calendar days to return the product that you are not satisfied with. Your right of return starts from the moment your order is delivered. No return will be accepted without a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number and beyond 14 calendar days. You must report your intention to return the product within this time frame, secure an RMA number and ship the product back to us using the return label provided. The right of return only applies to products that are returned in their original box and packaging. Any product that has been damaged, is not in its original packaging, or packaging that has been worn beyond simply opening the product, will not be refunded. In the event that the original packaging is lost, disposed or damaged you are responsible for finding an appropriate bike box. You could purchase a suitable bike box from us by paying an upfront fee plus shipping. This is generally $100 for the box + ~$300 shipping. We have the right to refuse a return due to damage if it is not in original packaging or has been used more than reported. |
Deductions on Return We would deduct the two-way shipping fee and restocking fee, from the refund amount, depending on the condition the product is received in. Shipping fees vary based on your address from $300-$400. We have found that return shipping from Hawaii, Alaska, and other remote areas to be significantly more costly. Please contact us for a quote. You are welcome to find your own shipper if desired. All products would be subject to a minimum 15% restocking fee by default. The exact restocking fee would be communicated only after a complete assessment of the returned goods. For refunds on payments made via PayPal the original transaction fee of 3.5% is non-refundable. All returns and deductions would be at the sole discretion of Biktrix Enterprises Inc. |
Local Bike Shop - Terms Of Service In instances where the bike needs to be serviced at a Local Bike Shop, the customer must procure a pre-authorization from Biktrix in order to proceed ahead with the warranty claims. Failure to secure a pre-authorization may result in the rejection of the warranty claim made for such works. Pre- Authorization: Before proceeding with service at a Local Bike Shop, Biktrix will issue a pre-authorization for an appropriate amount based on the nature of the work that needs to be carried out on the bike. In cases where the customer receives an estimate from the Local Bike Shop that is more than the pre-authorized amount. It is the responsibility of the customer to secure a revised pre-authorization. Failure to do this excludes Biktrix from any liability to compensate for the invoice beyond the pre-authorization. If the customer willfully proceeds with the repair work that costs more than the pre-authorized amount, Biktrix is liable to only compensate the customer for the amount that was pre-authorized and will not cover the entire amount on the Invoice of the Work. Diagnostics: In certain cases, Biktrix will pre-authorize an amount for our customer to take their bike to a local bike shop for diagnostics of the issue. This is intended as a fault-finding process, to have an experienced bike mechanic look at the bike and provide insight into the issue and repair options and to provide a quote for the actual work to fix the problem. If the bike shop proceeds with the actual work when we have only pre-authorized for diagnostics then the customer should not assume that Biktix will reimburse them for the warranty claim. In such cases, the reimbursement of the warranty claim and the amount of refund would be at the sole discretion of Biktrix Enterprises. Reimbursement for work: Once the job is completed the customer must send us a copy of the invoice and Biktrix will reimburse/ refund the customer via the original payment method that was used to purchase the bike. In case the customer wants Biktrix to pay the bike shop directly, this would need an additional 5 business days to process the payment on Biktrix’s end. The payments can be made via electronic means only. Co-ordination: If the local bike shop requires the customer to leave the bike at a local bike shop for a certain number of days it is the responsibility of the customer to coordinate with the bike shop and seek information regarding the progress of the work on the bike. Biktrix agents may communicate with the Bike Shop via Telephone and emails during regular Biktrix business hours. Under no circumstances can Biktrix or one of our agents can be held responsible for the job that is done at a Local Bike Shop. In the instance that the local bike shop needs parts that are specifically available from Biktrix, they need to send a request for these through the original owner of the bike. Biktrix will not accept parts requests received from the local bike shop directly. It is the responsibility of the customer to be looped into the proceedings at the local bike shop and to ensure that any emails regarding the work must have relevant people CCed for transparent communication. Biktrix Enterprises cannot be held responsible for delays at the local bike shop for any reason whatsoever. Storage Fees: Some bike shops may charge storage fees on bikes that are waiting for parts/ troubleshooting purposes or any similar reason thereof. In cases like these, the customer must pay for the storage fee or take the bike back until such time that the parts have been received and the local bike shop is able to commence work on the bike. Biktrix Enterprises will not cover the Storage Fee at Bike Shops. |
Refund/ Reimbursements All refunds/ reimbursements are at the sole discretion of Biktrix Enterprises and to the original mode of payment only. In case the original payment mode has changed/ disabled it is the responsibility of the customer to inform Biktrix about the same as early as possible. Failure to do so may result in a ‘lost’ or suspended transaction and under no circumstances can Biktrix Enterprises be held liable for the misplaced transaction or asked for a repeat of a refund to another payment mode. In such cases, the onus is on the customer to contact the relevant financial institution and secure the transaction. While we take all measures to process the approved refunds as soon as possible, there are delays sometimes at the financial merchant’s interface, Biktrix Enterprises cannot be held responsible for delays in the processing of refunds/ reimbursements and the inconvenience/ loss caused due to it. There will be a 10% service fee for orders, including pre-orders, placed but not shipped. This will be held back from the refund. The maximum liability for a refund including all warranty and return for refund claims combined, whether separate or concurrent cannot exceed the initial purchase price of the product. |
