As this was my first ebike I did a boat load of research before my purchase. My requirements were a mid-drive bike with at least 500W and a long range battery and hydraulic brakes. The Juggernaut Ultra 1000 far exceeded the power requirement (who ever said no to more horsepower???) and checked off all other boxes at a competitive price point.
Once shipped the bike arrived in a week and was very easy to assemble. I had some questions on adjustments after my first ride and scheduled a video call with support who addressed those concerns in about 20 minutes. Since I have some knowledge of bike adjusting and repair, it was no problem to do the adjustments they suggested but they did offer a credit if I chose to bring it to a local bike shop, which wasn’t necessary.
That brings me to my other requirement of a company that is responsive and supports their products. I have seen/heard others who have the expectation of getting a phone rep whenever they call. I’ve learned in my search that all these companies have a high demand and they do not operate like a local bike shop where someone is able to answer the phone at the ready. Biktrix always answers my emails within a business day and follow up replies are quicker. They have been piloting scheduled video calls for sales and support, which I think is a brilliant idea, it definitely worked for me!
Between my experiences with Biktrix as a company and the build quality and enjoyment I get out of riding my Juggernaut Ultra 1000, I have already placed a second order for a Juggernaut Duo Ultra step thru for my wife, which is exactly the type of bike she wanted as well!
